Our Founder
Hemlock & Key was founded in 2021 by tea connoisseur, Josh Schneider. Schneider acquired his love of tea from his grandmother, and began developing his knowledge of tea and skills of tea blending at home and abroad. With a strong desire to share his love of tea with others, Schneider committed to establishing his own tea emporium.
Our Future
We are aiming for a brick and mortar location between 2022 - 2024
We envision Hemlock & Key as transcending the idea of what many modern tea shops depict, an exclusive club restricted but to a select few, and instead, we hope to create an inclusive space for all tea lovers, both seasoned and new, to indulge in one of nature’s finest gifts without being forced to pay the exorbitant entry fee.
Ours shall be a haven for all those who seek respite from the struggles of everyday life and the doldrums which fill the gaps in-between.

Hemlock & Key is proud to offer an exclusive collection of over 40 of the finest teas from around the world, from traditional classics like Assam, Matcha, and Pai Mu Tan to custom blends featuring the finest flowers, fruits, herbs, and roots. Regardless of what blend you seek, you may rest assured that each and every ounce has been crafted and handled with care.
